Inspired by the success of their Ruckers Hill range of beers leaning into their locale – the first two being Thornbury Lager and Ruckers Hill Pale – 3 Ravens added a third heading into summer 2025. This time around, they've tipped their hats at one of inner-north Melbourne's most iconic hangouts: Edinburgh Gardens. And they've done so with a beer presumably designed for the sort of long, long, lazy days / evenings / nights / all three for which the park is known.
Edinburgh Gardens Ale, which they're calling an "All Day Ale", is a mid-strength hazy that's a lil' like their Lil' Juicy, but wound back a lil'. Fruitiness is predominantly of the peachy / stonefruit kind on the nose, more citrusy to taste, while texture is as soft as you'd expect from a hazy, and bitterness as restrained as you'd expect from an "All Day Ale".
Nothing fancy; just a midstrength for the mid-2020s. Add mates, a well-iced esky, decent speakers, and long evenings and you're set.
