Air Head is Boatrocker's smashable hazy pale, built on soft, pillowy malts and stacked with bright tropical hop character. The Braeside brewery has aimed for the easy-drinking end of the haze spectrum, dialling back the strength while keeping every drop of fruit-forward flavour.
Pouring a glowing orange-gold and slightly hazy in the glass, it leads with juicy aromatics of passionfruit, citrus and ripe stone fruit. The palate is creamy and gentle, with soft tropical fruit flavours layered over a smooth oat-led body and bitterness kept well in the background.
It's a sessionable hazy pale that drinks with serious ease, ideal for long afternoons in the sun when you want plenty of haze and plenty of flavour.
