However, it has a fruity nature that is rarely seen. Slightly tenacious, it is aromatic with the tastes of apples and pears cooked in simple syrup and well balanced against the peat smoke. In the end, you can expect the peat to fade into a mild liquorice note with citrus and vanilla overtones. All and all a meaty dram that is singular in nature.
