Glenglassaugh Revival 700ml

Glenglassaugh Distillery was closed in 1986 and sat ideal until resuming production in 2008. That is what gives Revival its name. It is the first offering they have released since being revived by the American owned Brown-Forman Group. Aged in a balanced mix of ex-red wine barrels and newly constructed white oak bourbon casks and then married and re-aged in rich sherry casks Glenglassaugh Revival has a complex palate for a Highland. Cherries, oranges, plums, and chocolate covered walnuts are dominant against a backdrop of honey-mead, sherry and a soft oak spiciness. Non chill filtered and of natural colour, it is bottled at 46% ABV.
