Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select is the signature single barrel expression from the famous Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, established in 1866. Rather than blending hundreds of barrels together as with Old No. 7, every bottle of Single Barrel Select is drawn from one individual barrel, so each release carries its own subtle character.
The whiskey matures in new charred American oak barrels positioned on the upper floors of the Lynchburg barrelhouses. Each barrel is hand selected by the distillery's tasting panel once it reaches its peak, and the whiskey is bottled straight from that single cask without any blending.
Expect a richer, bolder take on the classic Jack Daniel's profile, with toasted oak, vanilla and caramel leading the way, followed by gentle spice, brown sugar, bright fruit notes and sweet aromatics. The finish is long and warming, with caramel and oak lingering.
