This 2021 Chardonnay is a blend of our three favourite batches that year: a field blend of Burgundian clones we grow in a pocket of the Wyliabrup area with its own cool and dry micro-climate, a Gingin selection from our original Jindong property, and a batch of Gingin fruit from the cool, crisp Karridale area. These three blocks are all cane-pruned, entirely leaf-plucked through the fruit zone and low yielding. They were selected for representing the diversity and complementarity of Margaret River's micro-climates. The result of the blend showcases richness and restraint, which make Margaret River terroirs truly unique.
