Trevor Mast was a legend of the Australian wine scene. Among his many accomplishments, he is most revered as a pioneer of cool climate Shiraz. The Mast Shiraz is our tribute to his memory, recognising his role in establishing the reputation of Mount Langi Ghiran. Thanks to his foresight, our vineyards showcase the ultimate expression of cool climate Shiraz.

Various fermentation treatments including de-stemmed, 50% whole bunch and gently crushed parcels- all fermented in small open fermenters. Hand plunged, foot-stomped and basket pressed.

Colour: Dark Ruby with hints of blue.

Nose: Bright red berries and subtle hints of spice.

Palate: Dried herbs, ripe raspberries, beetroot and spice are in harmony on the palate.

Cellar: Drinking beautifully now but will also reward with careful cellaring over the next twelve to fifteen years.
