A sight dark mahogany color, very dense (tearing). Extremely intense and complex, shows profound raisins aromas accompanied by honey, dates and almonds notes. Deliciously sweet, dense and unctuous. Flavoursome and elegant, with raisins, bitter chocolate, spicy and caramel notes, build to a smouldering intensity that lingers on the palate seemingly forever. An incredible unique wine.

This is the quintessential wine dessert. Also fantastic on its own or paired with blue cheeses.

Entry-level sherry for the burgeoning connoisseur

If you're a port drinker and you've been curious about sherry, this is an excellent place to start. The higher viscosity is suggestive of an aged tawny, but with more of a "rum & raisin" flavour palette than the plummy butterscotch you'd expect from a port. An absolute delight and incredible value at BoozeBud prices.
