The Paringa Estate Robinson Vineyard Pinot Noir 2017 is a single vineyard wine sourced from the Robinson family's vineyard in Tuerong, on the Mornington Peninsula. Made from the prized MV6 clone grown in the Freeway block, this wine showcases the distinctive character that this exceptional site delivers. Only 128 dozen were produced.
Aromas of dark cherry and spice lead to a palate with a solid core of dark cherry fruit, beautifully integrated with fine savoury tannins. The wine is textured and elegant, finishing with a long, lingering persistence. The extended 2017 growing season allowed the fruit to develop outstanding balance and intensity.
A benchmark Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir from one of the region's most respected producers, rated 95 points by the Halliday Wine Companion. 13.5% ABV, screw cap closure.
