Stolichnaya, or 'Stoli' among friends. While it Soviet origins are shrouded in mystery (who needs a birthdate, anyway?), it remains undeniably iconic. It's thrice-distilled from wheat and rye grains, then filtered through birch charcoal and quartz sands to produce a pure and slightly sweet, textural spirit.

A silky, effortless entry leads to a glycerous, dryish medium-to-full body of sweet cream, powdered sugar, talc, and tarragon, and honeyed lemon verbena flavours. Finishes with long, smooth wet stone and lemon custard-like fade.
