Tamnavulin Distillery was first opened in 1966 with 6 large stills. Still, few outside of the industry knew who they were until they marketed a single malt under their own name in 2016. Since that time, they have made a name for themselves as one of the premier Speyside distilleries. Tamnavulin Double Cask Scotch Whisky is a modern single malt expression aged in American oak barrels for a sweet, mellow taste, then polished in sherry and red wine casks sourced from across Europe to add an elegant fruity note and slight nutty tone that leads to a medium finish that is buttery smooth.
