Spectra is The Glenlivet's experiment in blind tasting. The Speyside distillery released three mystery single malts together and deliberately withheld the details, so there are no cask types, no age statements and no official flavour descriptions printed anywhere on the bottles.

The idea is to taste without preconceptions and reach your own conclusions, then compare them against the distillery's notes through an accompanying online experience. Each of the three liquids sits in a distinctly different part of the flavour spectrum, one leaning towards orchard fruit, one towards coastal smoke and one towards creamy sweetness touched by fire.
