Rum Diary Spiced Rum was born behind the bar of The Rum Diary Bar in Melbourne, where owner Hamish Goonetilleke began blending a house spiced rum that became so popular it grew into a brand of its own. This hip flask puts that same original spiced rum into a compact, pocket-friendly format.
The base is a full-bodied rum aged in Trinidad and Tobago, which is then spiced in Melbourne with a blend of more than 15 local and imported botanicals. The spicing is designed to blend subtly together rather than overpower the rum.
The result is big and bold, with warm spice, a long palate and a balance between sweetness and a drier finish. Sip it neat, pour it over ice, or mix it with ginger beer or cola for an easy spiced rum serve wherever you are headed.
