Waterford Sheestown 1.2 Single Malt Irish Whisky 700ml

The second edition of Sheestown incorporates barley cultivated by Phil O'Brien in County Kilkenny, on a rugged terroir that consists mostly of limestone. This particular terroir provides excellent drainage and is situated at a low-lying area. Furthermore, this Waterford edition is aged for an additional 4 months compared to version 1.1, representing approximately a 10% increase in aging and resulting in noticeable changes.

Distilled in 2016 and bottled at 50%, this 100% Irish Single Malt does not contain any artificial coloring or undergo cold filtration. As a result, it develops a complex character with a focus on gourmet and spicy notes.

The new Single Farm Origin range, which exclusively utilizes 100% Irish barley, is renowned for its exceptional quality worldwide. It comprises a collection of limited edition whiskeys that highlight the distinct origin of each farm, offering a glimpse into the unique Irish terroir. These whiskeys serve as a testament to precision and rarity, showcasing the diverse aromas and flavors that emerge from the barley sourced from various small Irish farms, which varies with each harvest.
