Aerstone 10 Year Old Sea Cask 700ml

When William Grant & Sons, makers of Glenfiddich and Balvenie, bring a new offering to the table you know your in for a treat. Matured on the Ayrshire coast, of Scotland, Aerstone 10 Year Old Sea Cask has surprisingly light maritime notes. There is a touch of sea salt brine present but not as much as you would expect. Instead, vanilla, caramel, and smoked almond influences from the bourbon barrel ageing dominate the flavour profile. For those new to scotch, Aerstone 10 Year Old Sea Cask is a wonderfully gentle introductory dram while still being complex enough to be a worthwhile sipper.
