Arran 18 Year Old is a refined island single malt from the Isle of Arran, off Scotland's west coast. Matured for a full eighteen years, it displays the depth and elegance that come with patient ageing, while retaining the fresh, fruit-driven character that defines the distillery.
The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon oak casks, lending both richness and finesse. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at natural colour, allowing the true texture and character of the spirit to shine through.
The nose offers dried apricot, orange zest, honeycomb and warm spice, with sweet orchard fruit and toasted oak. The palate is creamy and generous, with toffee, fig, dark chocolate and roasted almonds over a gentle backbone of oak spice. The finish lingers with citrus oil, vanilla and a soft malty sweetness.
