The Bellvale Nebbiolo vineyard is a very lean slope with some gravel patches. There are 3 selected Italian clones. The wine remains on skins for 30 days. The elevage is 12 months, in large format European oak.
The growing season was rather cool with some rain. Harvest was at the middle of April.
The wine is deeply coloured with complex bold tannins. Delicious, with excellent length and nice acidity.
