A Pinot Grigio from Brown Brothers, one of Australia's most enduring family wineries. Founded in 1889 by John Francis Brown at the Milawa vineyard in Victoria's King Valley, the winery is now run by the third and fourth generations of the Brown family and is a founding member of Australia's First Families of Wine. The cool-climate King Valley, with its high-altitude sites and diverse soils, is widely considered one of the country's best homes for Italian varieties.
Made in the lighter, Italian-leaning style rather than the richer French Pinot Gris mould, this is a crisp and textural white. Expect aromas of savoury pear and fresh peach, leading into a dry palate with bright natural acidity and a clean, food-friendly finish.
Sourced from cool-climate King Valley fruit and made as a fresh, unoaked style to preserve aromatics and acidity. Bottled at 12.5% alcohol. Best served well chilled, on its own or alongside antipasto, fresh seafood and lighter pasta dishes.
