Delirium Nocturnum Belgian Strong Dark Ale 8.5% 12 Pack Bottles 750ml

Delirium Nocturnum is a Belgian strong dark ale from Brouwerij Huyghe, which has been brewing in Melle, East Flanders, since 1906 and is famous for its pink elephant emblem. Nocturnum is the darker sibling of the renowned Delirium Tremens.

It pours a dark brownish red with a compact, stable white-yellow head that leaves fine lacing on the glass. The aroma brings touches of caramel, mocha and chocolate, along with spice notes including liquorice and coriander.

On the palate it opens soft and warming, before a rising bitterness from the hops and roasted, chocolatey malts takes hold. It finishes with a satisfying balance of bitter, sour and sweet. Enjoy it in a tulip or goblet glass so the aromas can open up.
