Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage is the rosé expression of one of the most celebrated names in Champagne. The house takes its name from Pierre Pérignon, the Benedictine monk of the Hautvillers abbey traditionally credited with perfecting the art of blending, and it remains true to a vintage-only philosophy, releasing wine only from years it judges worthy of the name.
This cuvée brings together hand-harvested Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with the exact proportions shifting from one vintage to the next and the house keeping its blending approach closely guarded. Finished in a Brut style, the wine spends many years ageing in the cellars before release, building depth and complexity over time.
In the glass it shows a bright rosé colour and an expressive nose of raspberry, strawberry, cherry and fig, accented by hints of gingerbread and liquorice. The palate is round, rich and generous, with a creamy texture, intense ripe red fruit and a long, lingering finish.
Presented in a gift box, it makes an elegant choice for celebrations and special occasions.
