Four Pillars Distillery paired with the QANTAS Rockpool mixology team to create the second release in the collaborative Bartender Series - spirits made by bartenders to make perfect cocktails. This is an Asian-inspired Modern Australian gin, combining softness and spice, using native Australian ingredients. Starting with red and green Szechuan chiles for a warmer mouthfeel, the flavours move onto rich macadamia for a creamy and nutty palate. Adding fresh tangelos and Rose Glow apples to balance the heat, plus grapefruit peel and a dry native quandong to add fruitiness and lift. Try in a Red Snapper as an alternative to a vodka Bloody Mary, or mix in a spicy Gibson martini.
