Naught Australian Dry Gin is made by Naught Distilling, a small distillery in Eltham on the outskirts of Melbourne. Playful yet grounded in tradition, it is built around the backbone of a classic London Dry style while making room for the character of Australian botanicals. The result is a spirit that feels both familiar and distinctly local, distilled from a clean wheat base for a smooth, pure foundation.
On the nose it offers refined citrus, juniper and a gentle nuttiness. The palate opens with fresh juniper and zesty citrus before the warmth of cassia and the nutty depth of toasted wattle seed come through. Fresh orange and a whisper of star anise fill out the mid-palate, while macadamia oil lends a creamy, rounded texture. The finish is long, oily and textural, leaving a subtle lingering spice.
