The Gabriel Boudier Nori Seaweed Liqueur, launched in April 2022, is a meticulously crafted beverage that is made by individually infusing dried Nori and Dulse seaweed in beet-neutral alcohol for three weeks. This infusion is then blended with grapefruit alcohol-ate, concentrated lime juice, alcohol, sugar and water. The creation of this unique liqueur was the brainchild of Matthew Cusworth, a renowned mixologist from Hoot the Redeemer in Edinburgh, who won the third Gabriel Boudier Wizard Award Competition with his creation.
When it comes to the tasting notes, the Nori Seaweed Liqueur boasts of a subtle, yet unmistakable aroma of dried seaweed that evokes memories of sushi rolls.
