The 2021 Syrah exhibits a vibrant and intricate representation of cool climate Shiraz. Its deep blue garnet color is accompanied by a bouquet of red rose petal, rosemary, star anise, and blackberry aromas. These characteristics carry over to the palate, where flavors of black cherry, forest bramble, blood plum, roasted red capsicum, umami sweet soy, and mocha are present. The wine concludes with notes of five-spice and pink peppercorn. Its delectable and supple texture is well-balanced by a superb acid line, slightly grippy tannins, and a persistent length.

This Syrah pairs excellently with smoked brisket, Shanghai pork fried noodles, portobello mushrooms with pine nuts, or aged Comté or Gruyere cheese.
