This nationally allocated product undergoes batch releases twice annually, each marked by a unique batch number and proof, showcasing variations in taste and character. Crafted from small batches of seven to nine-year-old barrels and aged in open rickhouses, Bernheim Barrel Proof embodies a complex sensory experience. Its nose reveals notes of sweet bread, pastry crust, apple cider, cinnamon, and leather with a slight astringency. On the palate, flavours evolve with hints of Fireball candy, brown sugar, tannic oak, and leather, accompanied by a subtle creaminess that gradually intensifies in astringency.
