The Boehm family landed in the United States of America in 1740, at a time where America was still but 13 colonies. By 1788, the Boehm family were living in Kentucky and had Americanized their family name to "Beam. Jacob Beam was one of those incentivised by the U.S. government to grow corn and distilled any excess corn with an old whiskey recipe of his father's, selling Old Jake Beam Sour Mash in Kentucky for the very first time in 1795. Jim Beam Devil's Cut Bourbon is a 40% ABV Straight Bourbon Whiskey that hits the senses with bold, complex and intense bourbon character.
