Johnnie Walker Blue Label Festive Blend is a limited-edition blended Scotch whisky created to celebrate India's festive season. It is a genuinely new blend rather than a simple repackaging of the classic Blue Label, and it continues the brand's creative partnership with acclaimed Indian couturier Rahul Mishra.
The blend was crafted by Johnnie Walker Master Blender Dr Emma Walker, who drew on rare whiskies from the house's vast reserves of more than ten million casks. As with every Blue Label release, only a tiny fraction of those casks are judged to have the depth and character needed to make the cut.
Dr Walker took her inspiration from Indian cuisine and the way skilled chefs balance bold spice with harmony, elegance and depth. The result layers fragrant cardamom and saffron with rosewater and bright citrus, leading into honeyed richness and chocolate-dipped fruit. Warm notes of clove and cinnamon sit over a smooth sweetness, finished with a gentle wisp of smoke.
