Laphroaig Lore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

Distillery Manager John Campbell says that Laphroaig Lore was created to be the richest permanent offering in the distillery's line. It was created utilising five different types of casks, including quarter casks and first-fill Sherry butts holding liquids aged from seven to 21 years. The resulting whisky has a nose that is rich with smoke, sea salt, chocolate and unroasted chestnuts. On the tongue, it is peaty with a spicy chilli bite that leads to a short dry finish that leaves an enduring sweetness on the tongue. All in all, a classically profiled Islay Whisky of the first order.
