Lark Distillery Single Malt Cask Strength 58% 500ml

Despite its high alcohol content (58% ABV), Lark Distillery Single Malt Cask Strength is a smooth, flavourful dram without the burn that lesser whiskies often exhibit. Produced in limited quantities at Larks Tasmanian distillery, it won a Gold Medal at the 2011 World Whiskeys Masters and is a prime example of the advantages that small cask ageing brings to the table. It possesses a lite sweet and spicy nose but once on the tongue becomes very complex. Hints of ginger, apples, vanilla cream, pears and plum pudding are evident, as is a slight sweetness akin to maple syrup. This is one whisky true connoisseurs will love.
