Lord Howe Island Distilling Co was launched by local islander Anthony Riddle and his mate Christian Young, who has been coming to Lord Howe Island every summer for 24 years since he was a kid. World Heritage-listed Lord Howe Island is dependant on rainwater, so the gin is predominantly distilled in Sydney, with local Lord Howe botanicals and wild bush lemons, which have been on the island for more than 180 years. Lord Howe Island Distilling Co. Wild Lemon & Hibiscus Gin has been voted silver medallist at the Australian Gin Awards the past 2 years and is an absolute winner!
