Mackmyra Intelligens Swedish Single Malt Whisky 700ml

The concept of AI-created whisky was sparked during a discussion about the future of whisky with Microsoft. Microsoft's partner Fourkind was entrusted to develop the solution. Collaborating with Mackmyra, Fourkind utilized Microsoft Azure to create its AI solution, providing necessary datasets to initiate the generation of recipes.

The Master Blender applied their expertise to choose harmonious recipe ingredients and rectify unfavorable combinations. The AI algorithm, through repetitive iterations, learned the preferred combinations and consequently improved the recipe mixtures. The resulting recipes formed the Intelligens series. The Mackmyra Moment Virvelvind was aged in 1st fill Bourbon, Olorosso, American oak, and Swedish Oak barrels.

The whisky exhibits pronounced fruity tones of green pear and honey, harmoniously mixed with vanilla and butterscotch. The flavor introduces vanilla fudge paired with notes of citrus, a mild spicy pepper hint, and a distinct oak barrel character. The essence is gently enveloped in smoky peat and juniper.
