The first 15 year old to break into the top 10 single malts in the world, Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera Reserve delivers a taste experience as unique as its production method. Initially, it is matured like most Glenfiddich offerings, in American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and virgin oak barrels. Then something special happens. The kegs are married and allowed to mellow in the company's unique Solera Vat, a large oak tun that is never emptied but kept half full of whisky at all times. The result is a scotch that belies its youth in both character and taste.
