The fruit for this wine was sourced from vineyards in South Eastern Australia, where the hot climate, high evaporation rates, and generally low rainfall necessitate irrigation. The continental climate provides long sunny days and noticeably cooler nights, which ensure complete fruit ripening and minimal disease due to low relative humidity. This approachable, full-flavoured wine is derived from fruit harvested at night from various dry and irrigated vineyards. The grapes underwent a fermentation period of seven days. Post-fermentation, the wine matured in stainless steel tanks and oak before the final blending. Tasting Notes: This wine exhibits upfront aromas of red fruits complemented by toasty oak. On the palate, it reveals upfront fruits with hints of black pepper and spice, accompanied by soft tannins.
