Imperial NEIPA is a big, hazy double New England IPA from Mismatch Brewing Co, the multi-award-winning independent brewery founded in 2012 in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Mismatch brews at the Lot 100 destination it shares with sister brands including The Hills Cider Co and 78 Degrees Distillery, working to a flavour-over-power philosophy.
This is a full-strength, full-flavoured expression of the hazy style. A heavy cryo-hop regime of Cryo Citra, Cryo Mosaic, Cryo Idaho 7 and Sabro drives punchy tropical notes of pineapple, passionfruit, coconut and citrus.
The mouthfeel is thick, juicy and viscous beneath a soft, marshmallowy head, finishing with a smooth, balanced sweetness rather than harsh bitterness.
