Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut is the signature champagne of one of Champagne's most celebrated houses, a timeless style that has been enjoyed around the world since 1869. Here it comes presented in a Moët & Chandon gift box, making it a ready-made present for celebrations of every kind.
The house draws on grapes from close to 280 crus across the Champagne region, bringing together more than 100 different wines to capture the diversity of the appellation. Between a fifth and almost a third of the blend is made up of reserve wines, chosen to add maturity, complexity and a consistent house style from year to year. Pinot Noir gives body, Meunier adds suppleness and Chardonnay contributes finesse, with a light dosage keeping the finish crisp.
In the glass it shows a golden straw colour with green highlights. The nose offers green apple and citrus alongside mineral and white floral notes, layered with brioche, cereal and fresh nuts. The palate is generous yet lively, with ripe pear, peach and apple carried by fine bubbles, a soft citrus freshness and a hint of gooseberry.
