Nepenthe Pinnacle Shiraz 750ml

The commencement of the 2020 growing season was characterized by unusually high temperatures, which eventually transitioned into a standard pattern of moderate day temperatures and cool nights during the critical final two months of the season. Fermentation of the fruit ensued in small, open vats, maintained at a temperature range of 18-22 degrees Celsius. Upon completion of the fermentation process, the wine was relocated to French oak hogsheads for maturation. A 14-month maturation period was followed by clarification and bottling of the wine. The wine is characterized by prominent notes of blackberry and dried herbs. The palate is a rich yet refined amalgamation of dominant black fruit flavors, subtly accompanied by hints of white pepper, culminating in a soft, velvety tannin finish.
