Newcastle Brown Ale is a beer brand that falls under the ownership of Heineken International. Its inception took place in 1927 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, under the management of Newcastle Breweries. Later, the company transitioned into Scottish & Newcastle in 1960. In 2005, brewing operations were relocated from Newcastle to Dunston in Gateshead, marking the first instance of such a move. Subsequently, in 2009, plans were announced to shift production to Tadcaster in North Yorkshire.
