Paulaner has been brewing in Munich since 1634, and its Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrüb is the brewery's signature Bavarian wheat beer. Billed by Paulaner as Germany's favourite Weissbier, it is a classic beer garden pour, made for long afternoons and good company.

Brewed from malted wheat and barley, including light and dark wheat malts alongside Pilsner and Munich malts, it is hopped with Herkules and fermented with Paulaner's own wheat beer yeast. Left unfiltered, it pours a naturally cloudy, shining silky gold beneath a generous, long-lasting head of foam.

The aroma opens with mild banana, joined by hints of mango and pineapple. On the palate, sweetness and bitterness sit in neat balance, with a fine yeasty note and a lively, sparkling mouthfeel that keeps it fresh and refreshing to the last sip. Serve well chilled in a tall wheat beer glass.
