A testament to the enduring 'House Style' and winemaking philosophy that Penfolds has proudly upheld since 1844.This wine has always stayed true to its roots, being sourced from the iconic Adelaide Hills since its 1994 inception. A distinctive, singleregion style, that has a well-known, contemporary chardonnay persona. White stone fruits appear on the nose as well as a complex nuttiness; assorted cashew, almond and brazil nut. It's a `big' wine on the palate, with hints of citrus and nashi pear and 40% of new oak totally absorbed.
