Rockford Basket Press Shiraz 2018 750ml

Red and black fruit, a little walnut, some vanilla/cedar oak, and rosy perfume. The wine is hand-made using equipment from the turn of the last century, then matured in seasoned American and French oak casks for two years. All this contributes to our objective to make the very highest quality traditional, soft, deeply-coloured, earthy Australian red wine which will bottle age. It has freshness, nutty and savoury flavours, but with brightness of fruit. Tannin offers a gentle grip and graininess, and the finish has fragrance and good length. A very good release. Classic Rockford style.
