Scorpo Estate Pinot Noir 2020 750ml

57% of the fruits come from the Big Hill block on Scorpo's Sanleys Road vineyard ( clone MV6), 17% is from the Old Cherry Orchard old Abel clone, 13% Old Cherry Orchard young Abel clone and finally 13% is from Eocene MV6 clone.

The fruits from Big Hill block fermented 15% Whole bunch and 10% whole bunch for the fruits from Eocene and Old cherry orchard 'old vines' vineyards. Grapes from the old cherry orchard 'Young vines' were 100% destemmed.

A delicate and nuanced wine with great detail. The nose is lifted with bright cherries, raspberries and pomegranate. The palate is fine with delicate tannins, whilst well structured, presenting cherries, raspberries and strawberries as well as graphite and gamey oak influence. - Paul Scorpo
