The Gospel Solera Rye 700ml

The original single malt expression from Melbourne's Gospel Distillers, Solera Rye is produced from a mash bill that consists of a single grain, unmalted 100% Australian Mallee Rye. Aged in a blend of new American oak and Australian Wine Barrels using the Solera system, it has a sweet and spicy nose with just a hint of port tawniness. On the tongue brown sugar and fresh raspberries quickly give way to a grape fruitiness followed by a slight touch of leather and peppery spices. As you would expect from a Solera finished rye, Gospel Solera Rye has a robust and complex character.
