Yuste Manzanilla La Kika 375ml

Francisco Yuste has been committed to producing Manzanilla of the highest historic standards since 1991. Through the rescue and restoration of endangered soleras and bodegas in Sanlúcar's iconic Barrio Alto and Barrio Bajo districts, classic Manzanillas and Sherries are now being crafted.

This dedication is in honor of Paco Yuste's late mother Caridad, affectionately known as 'Kika'. The solera is located at the historic Bodega Santa Ana in Sanlúcar's Barrio Bajo, which is also the Yuste family's residence. La Kika, aged for over ten years, is a concentrated and green-gold Manzanilla that exudes freshness. Each individual bota is carefully selected upon order and bottled by hand.

This particular batch was bottled in September 2016 and has received a rating of 90 points from Wine Enthusiast. It offers a refined and fresh nose of wood resin and green melon. The palate reveals flavors of spiced apple, sea salt, and sautéed white mushrooms, culminating in a healthy semi-complex finish.
