3 Ravens Munin 375ml

Munin is a Cold IPA - brewed with undermodified pilsner malt, rice and sugar and a Bavarian lager yeast to give the pale, dry and crisp profile of a traditional lager and distinct old world grain and yeast characteristics. The ABV and hop profile resembles that of a West Coast IPA although we've opted to showcase a range of 100% natural hop products that separate the oil and resin (the good stuff) from hops so as to minimise the vegetative material (leaves and stems) which can taste unpleasant and increase wastage. On the hot side (in the kettle) we are using a product called "Flex" (at the start of the boil) for bitterness, while loading up the whirlpool with Citra and Mosaic "Incognito", adding a Citra "Pure Hop Aroma" during fermentation and once fermentation is finished, dry hopping the beer with Citra and Mosaic "Spectrum". Generally these products are used in combination with traditional hop products, but we're super excited to showcase them on their own and to boldly explore the frontier of beer.
