Balvenie French Oak is a dynamic single malt, refined in barrels that previously contained wine from the French Charentes vineyards.

Pineau des Charentes, found as a homemade product in the neighbouring Deau-Sevres and Vendee departments, is a fortified wine derived from unfermented grape juice and matured with the addition of Cognac eau-de-vie.

Tasting Notes:
The aroma possesses a beautifully balanced blend of light floral notes from lotus and geranium flowers, intertwined with fresh meadow grass and peeled apple skin.

The palate offers a lively tang of lemon rind and grapefruit, harmonizing with the delicate sweetness of glazed fruits and a hint of root ginger spice.

The finish is refreshingly succinct.
