You'll find Clynelish near Bora, Sutherland, in the Highlands of Scotland. Today, their 'waxy' new make spirit is a rarity - think snuffed candles or waxed jackets. To achieve this, Clynelish replace the natural precipitation of oils in their tanks after their annual clean, oils other distilleries just remove. This means unique, mature, thick waxy single malt Scotch whisky for us to enjoy - it has notes of scented grass, fruits and pepper.
