Aged in first-fill vintage Seppeltsfield Port and Sherry casks — some over a century old — alongside Australian PX, Apera Sherry and Muscadelle casks, then finished in American oak, this is a whisky of exceptional depth and complexity.
Rich aromas of stewed plums steeped in wildflower honey, scorched orange and roasted pecans give way to dark chocolate, sun-drenched blackberries, caramel fondant and charred peaches on the palate, with a thread of refined peat smoke. The finish lingers with old oak, burnt maple syrup, sticky toffee pudding and toasted sesame brittle.
