Nagahama was established in 2016 and originally launched as a craft beer brewery. Now also a small batch craft whisky producer, Nagahama Distillery is the smallest whisky maker in Japan. Nagahama Distillery Amahagan World Malt No. 1 is a 47% ABV Blended Japanese Whisky and the first release from the Amahagan blended malt series. With Nagahama malt driving orange chocolate, along with intense mango, grilled pineapple, lemon zest and vanilla characteristics, finishing with a warm, lingering and spicy finish.
