Opthimus 21 is a refined Dominican rum from Oliver & Oliver, a family house whose rum-making roots trace back to Cuban tradition. Produced in the Dominican Republic, it is a solera-style rum, blended from stocks aged up to twenty-one years so that older and younger spirits marry into a single harmonious whole.
The rum is patiently matured in American white oak barrels that previously held Kentucky bourbon, drawing out a smooth, mellow character. Expect a rounded, gently sweet profile with notes of dried fruit, vanilla, toffee, oak and warm baking spice.
