Another masterpiece from Peter Douglas, Vitulus is the third Cabernet Sauvignon in the Reschke benchmark range. Younger, fresher vines were earmarked for the Vitulus, producing an elegant, fruit driven Cabernet. This wine is primarily matured in French oak to soften its structure and facilitate balance and finesse. Vitulus is an approachable yet audacious wine that can either be enjoyed now, or after a few years of cellaring.
